Check three things before adding anything to your basket
A discount won’t help if the strap or accessories don’t fit.
- Model and size. Both are shown on the back of the watch (depending on the model) or in the watch’s settings. You can also look up your model on the manufacturer’s website for more information, or contact our customer service.
- Clip type and width. The same brand may have several different fastenings, and two straps with the same width measurement do not always fit. Our compatibility guide covers all brands. You can find the strap length in the size guide.
- Material. Silicone and nylon are sweat and water-resistant. Leather and metal are better suited to work and evenings out. You can find out more about the materials under Quality & materials.

If you use your watch every day
A strap that’s on your wrist every day wears out first. A spare strap means you can swap it round when one needs washing or has given up the ghost, and Black Friday is a great time to buy one. Choose a different material or colour from your usual one, and your watch will take on a whole new look.

If you’re planning to upgrade your watch
Some upgrades are compatible with your existing straps, others aren’t. As long as you stick to the same attachment group, you can buy new straps right now.
- Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4: The Series 12 comes in the same sizes as the Series 10 and 11, and the Ultra 4 has the same 49mm size as the Ultra 3. Most straps from older Apple Watch models will also fit, but the 42mm figure can be misleading.
