Right of cancellation

As a consumer, you have a 30-day right of cancellation when you shop with us.

The cancellation period expires 30 days after the day you have received your goods or have the last item in your physical possession in the case of a contract for several different items ordered in one order and delivered individually.

You must notify us within 30 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notice must be given by mail@straps.co.uk or by using the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions. In your message, you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.

You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the goods without clearly informing us of this.

RETURNS

You must return your order to us without undue delay and no later than 30 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You bear the risk of the item from the time of delivery of the item. Missing original packaging may constitute an impairment, so to be sure to receive a full refund, it is recommended that the item is returned in its original packaging.

The condition of the item when you return it
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. In other words, you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you may not actually use it.

If the product is tried in excess to what is described above, we consider it used, which means that if you cancel the purchase you will only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the product, and in some cases this may mean that you can only get the shipping costs back.

Cancellation of part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order. Please note that if you cancel part of your purchase, you will not be refunded the shipping costs. 

Refund of purchase amount
If you cancel your purchase, you will be refunded the amount you have paid to us. In the event of a depreciation for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

If you exercise your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a form of delivery other than the cheapest form of standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to cancel this agreement. We will make such refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

I have changed my mind and want to make a return purchase

Please include a copy of your invoice/order confirmation with your return so that we can easily identify the product and order. If you do not have your invoice/order confirmation, please provide your order number.

  • Write on your invoice/order confirmation that you would like a refund.

I have purchased the wrong item and would like to exchange my product

Please include a copy of your invoice/order confirmation in the return so that we can easily identify the product and order. If you do not have an invoice/order confirmation, please provide the order number.

  • Please write on your invoice/order confirmation that you would like an exchange.
  • Please write the name of the product you would like to exchange for, as well as the product's SKU (item number), which you can find on the product page.

It is very helpful if you remember to write the full product name as it appears on our website, as well as the item number. This will speed up the process and make it easier for our returns team to find the replacement product you want, as well as eliminating the risk of misunderstandings that could lead to packing errors.

My product is broken, defective or incorrect and I want to return it

If you receive a product that is broken, defective or if you suspect that you have received the wrong product, this is not a return, but a reclamation. Please contact our customer service so that they can help you further.

General instructions and information

Below you will find information and instructions regarding returns for any reason.

When will my return be processed?

Your return will be processed as soon as it has been received and registered by our returns department. We process returns daily, in the order in which we receive them. During periods of higher volume (e.g. after Christmas, public holidays and during vacation times), processing times may be longer.

Who is responsible for the return?

When a product is returned for cancellation, exchange or general return, the sender is responsible for the shipment until it has been received by us. This means that you must ensure that the return address is correct, that sufficient postage is used and that the contents arrive safely and without damage.

It is also important that the sender ensures that the return is sent in a way that guarantees delivery to the return address. We are unable to collect returns from delivery points.

Products returned without sufficient postage will be refused and returned to the sender, in accordance with postal service procedures. We do not accept parcel sent cash on delivery. 

I forgot to write down the replacement product, what happens now?

Returns that lack text or clear information regarding replacement will be refunded automatically. In these cases, it is easiest for the customer to wait for the refund (or follow-up from our customer service) and then place a new order.

How do I get my refund?

When you exercise your right of withdrawal, the purchase will be refunded as soon as we have received and processed the return. The amount will be refunded automatically using the same payment method (e.g. Klarna, PayPal) and to the same account that was used when the purchase was made.

Please note

Straps.co.uk does not refund shipping costs in connection with the exercise of the right of return. Returns of goods are at the customer's own risk. We will only refund the return once it has been received and processed (ensuring that the item is in perfect condition and unused).
