Nixon straps

Nixon watches are built for those who blur the line between work and play. From the laid-back Time Teller to the rugged Regulus or bold 51-30 Chrono, Nixon watches are made to make a statement. But even the most iconic wristwear can use an upgrade.

Our third-party straps are designed to fit Nixon watches that support interchangeable lugs, including both quick-release and pushpin systems. These aren’t original Nixon straps, but they’re built to be fully compatible, offering a fresh way to customize your watch without compromising fit or feel.

The freedom to make it yours

Nixon’s vibe has always been about versatility and personal expression — so why settle for the strap your watch came with?

A new nylon strap adds comfort and edge to your watch for weekends or workouts. A vintage brown leather strap takes your Time Teller from casual to classic in seconds. A black silicone strap turns your Spectra into a beach-ready beast. Or, for everyday wear, a mesh or smooth stainless steel strap gives you that minimal modern look Nixon’s known for.

  • Our quick-release straps make switching between styles incredibly easy, with no tools needed, just a few seconds and a new feel on your wrist.

What size strap does my Nixon watch use?

Nixon watches come in a range of shapes and sizes, so the lug width is key to getting the perfect fit. The lug width is the distance (in millimeters) between the two lugs on your watch where the strap attaches.

Some Nixon straps are proprietary, which means you have to turn to the manufacturer for a replacement straps. Others, however, use universal straps dimensions. Popular Nixon lug widths include:

  • 16mm (Time Teller, Scout)
  • 20mm (Spectra, Stinger, Time Teller, Porter)
  • 23mm (Sentry, Smyth)

How do I find out which size I need?

  • Measure the inside distance between the lugs with a ruler or caliper
  • Or check the existing strap, many have the width marked on the underside

Once you’ve got the width, you can choose any strap style or material that fits — you’re no longer stuck with the original look.
